Roger Austin is the Corporate Credit Officer for Simmons Bank covering community banks throughout their 6 state footprint. Roger has served Pettis County as a banker for over 25 years after graduating Northwest High School, State Fair Community College and UCM. Roger has been on the United Way Board for 12 years serving both on the finance committee and financial review teams during his time of service. He is also currently active on the Sedalia Pettis County Economic Development boards and is a former Sedalia Chamber of Commerce President and Rotary Club President.
Roger and his wife Sheri have raised their three sons; Logan, Cortlen and Baron in the Hughesville area. Roger is active in his local church serving as the Men’s Ministry Director and a Pastor/Elder. When asked, Roger stated: “I’ve always enjoyed doing what I can to help Sedalia prosper through being active in our community. I have tried to do this by working with organizations that positively impact our economic growth and quality of life.”
