Tehya Huffman serves as the Director of Operations at Mankin Consulting, LLC, where she has been a vital part of the team for over three years. With a career deeply rooted in fostering connections and supporting community well-being, Tehya brings exceptional leadership and dedication to her role.
Before joining Mankin Consulting, Tehya spent six years as the Director of Connections at First United Methodist Church (Celebration Center) in Sedalia. During this time, she was an integral member of the Pastoral Team, serving various Methodist congregations under FUMC's care.
Tehya’s commitment to healthcare dates back more than 15 years, when she served as Secretary of the Katy Trail Community Health Board. She also volunteered at Katy Trail during its transformative journey from a free clinic to a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), leaving a lasting impact on the organization and communities it serves.
A dedicated advocate for community support initiatives, Tehya has been actively involved with United Way for the past year and is proud to serve as a United Way Board Member. Her involvement with United Way spans various campaigns throughout her career, reflecting her passion for organizations that prioritize the health and well-being of the community.
In her free time, Tehya enjoys reading and spending cherished moments with her family, including her three grandsons (ages 5, 3, and 3 months) and her 4-month-old granddaughter. She and her husband share a love for travel, seeking out new trails and waterfalls to explore together.
